this was my lunch today.
that’s right! more than just iced coffee and a banana!
i’m home today because i just happened to have the day off, but i would be anyway because i’m slightly sick. boo. nothing major. some girl troubles, if you will.
well, not boo really, as i’m feeling much better than yesterday, in part because i found hello health. because i have already emailed two friends about this place and because i am determined to prevent this blog from becoming an infomercial, i will keep this brief: hello health is awesome.
they serve williamsburg and greenpoint
they are clean, professional and friendly
they are fast yet thorough
they have a “transparent” (and fair) pricing system, meaning you know what you’ll be paying up front
and apparently i was their first patient (!!!), as they just opened today. so obviously, i saw them at their best, all brand new and shiny. but i have great hopes for hello health and think that this is a great idea whose time was long overdue.
huh, in trying to be concise, i guess i ended up writing a little infomercial. ah well.
now a nap and a book and then, then i promise, some sewing.
i have a new vest to show you tomorrow.

Wow. The FIRST patient! The first to sign in , the first to read the waiting room magazines, the first one to hop up on the examining table…. And in Brooklyn, no less.
And I love the perky name so full of optimism, implying that you will be getting better soon. Hello Health and Hello Kitty. Wish we had one here.

yes! but also, no! there was no sign in–just a “you must be valerie!” which was kind of rad. and no wait, so no waiting room magazines…i think i remember seeing a bench by the window though. and no examining table! i mean, i just sat in a nice leather chair near a plant.
oh! and it smelled good. i think they use mrs. meyers cleaning stuff.
i wish you had one too!

yes, most of the time i do enjoy me some thermal. but i have to be in the right mood.
