an elephant shrew nightlight from happy owl glassworks was my biggest purchase from the renegade craft fair. i must say, i’m quite pleased with it. a few other nice little things were purchased, but i’m currently lying in bed on my side, with my comically swollen hobbit foots propped up and i’m typing with one hand. so that’s my report. if anyone has a secret for relieving pregnancy-related edema, please do share! it’s very unnerving and my “fat shoes” are even becoming a bit snug. sigh. just four more weeks!

    Hey Valerie,
Keep those hoofs up as much as possible and drink lots of water!

It’s gorgeous! I really like that bowl in your drying rack as well…

Try to stay comfortable. You’re SO CLOSE– how exciting!

That nightlight is perfectly adorable. And I agree with Mom’s advice re the hoofs and the water. This will all pass soon!

something that really worked for my swollen feet while i was pregnant last year was going to the chiropractor. she did this weird thing to get the fluid moving back out of my feet . it took like two seconds and my feet were un-swollen until i went into labor (a week and a half maybe?) then they got swollen again. i think a massage therapist can do the same thing. not sure what it was called but it was the only thing that really really worked.
cool night light by the way, it will come handy after baby is born and you are sleep deprived in the middle of the night.
